Phoenix Suns vs Chicago Bulls Single Game Parlay

Two teams that could easily face off in the NBA Finals meet on Monday night. The Phoenix Suns, who lead the Western Conference, face off against the Chicago Bulls. Considering each team leads their respective conferences, this should be a close game. That being said, there’s always a pick to be made. So, between these two teams, how can you build your single game parlay tonight?

On one side, you have the Phoenix Suns, a team with the No.3 offense in the NBA. On the other side, you have the DeMar DeRozan-led Chicago Bulls. Each of these teams has separated itself from the rest of the NBA, leaving you to make a decision. The Suns come in as heavy favorites in this game. So, who will cover the spread, and will the total go under or over tonight?

Game Preview: Phoenix Suns at Chicago Bulls

Before we can make our NBA picks for the game, we have to take a look at both teams. The Phoenix Suns are playing incredible basketball. Not long ago, the Suns went on an 11-game win streak before losing to the Atlanta Hawks. They average 112.71 points per game, ranking No.3 in the NBA. Deandre Ayton is also back in the lineup and healthy after spending time out.

The Chicago Bulls, on the other hand, could be missing one of their best players. Zach LaVine has returned to the “day-to-day” designation as he deals with a back injury. This could pose a big problem for the Bulls, who will have to defend some incredible Suns players. If LaVine is out, someone else will have to guard Devin Booker, which we all know could be serious trouble.

Against the Spread: Phoenix Suns -8

When it comes to picking teams against the spread, you always have to consider injuries. The Bulls are stretched pretty thin, and if Zach LaVine is out, they’ll be in even more trouble. Another thing to consider is how each team has done against the spread this season. Phoenix is 29-23, and Chicago is 30-22-1, pretty great records for each team.

However, the Phoenix Suns have an impressive ATS record when on the road at 16-9. In their last ten games against the Bulls, they’ve gone 7-3 with a 6-4 ATS record. The Suns can outscore the Bulls and are considerably more healthy. Although the eight-point spread is quite a lot, we trust the Suns can cover. Especially considering they just beat the Wizards by 15 points.

The Total: OVER 228

This one is slightly tougher to call because both teams can play good defense. In their last ten games, the over and under is tied at five games apiece. Still, in all six of Chicago’s last six games, the total has gone OVER. We understand this is a fairly large total, but you have to consider all the scorers on each side. Plus, Chicago has the 18th-ranked defense in the NBA.

The duo of Chris Paul and Devin Booker usually equals a scoring clinic. As a team, the Suns have the No.2 field-goal percentage at 47.76%. The Bulls have allowed teams to do well against them from beyond the arc as well. This season, the Bulls are allowing opponents to shoot 36.69% from the three-point line. All of this leads to the total going over 228 tonight.

Player Points: Devin Booker OVER 28.5

With the Bulls playing last night, look for some tired legs. That’s going to cause them to have a tough time guarding Devin Booker and the Suns offense. Look for Devin Booker to get to 30+ in this game.
