With Ja Morant and Jayson Tatum backing him up, Team Durant is looking good. The bench players are quite a lethal group too, with Devin Booker and Rudy Gobert. Still, they come in as six-point underdogs.
Team LeBron went out and picked arguably the best big man in the NBA, Nikola Jokic. It’ll be interesting to see how Jokic and Embiid go back and forth tonight. Jokic isn’t just an incredible scorer, he knows how to facilitate an offense as well. They also have Giannis Antetokounmpo, the player that leads the odds for All-Star MVP. So, who’s the best bet in tonight’s game?
Against the Spread: Team Durant +6
Team Durant and the duo of Joel Embiid and Jayson Tatum should keep this team in competition with Team LeBron. However, it’s important to note that last year, Team Durant lost 170-150. Still, Team Durant has some players on its team that can keep this game pretty close, even if they lose. Honestly, with Embiid in the paint Team Durant has a good chance to win.
The only trouble we think Team Durant will have is with Giannis, Stephen Curry, and Nikola Jokic. These players all facilitate the ball well and can run up the score. Trae Young will likely be matched up against Curry, which is a huge mismatch. For that reason, we won’t be taking Team Durant on the Moneyline. However, taking them against the spread is a good idea.
Moneyline: Team LeBron -230
The chances of this game being close are huge, however, we still think Team LeBron wins. Pairing Team Durant against the spread with Team LeBron Moneyline gives you a chance to win twice. LeBron’s team is full of shooters, Curry, Doncic, VanVleet, just to name a few. With these players on their team, Team LeBron will come out on top.
We know the -230 odds are pretty large and won’t return much back. However, you can balance that off with taking Stephen Curry +750 to win the All-Star MVP. Curry will likely be the reason that the Team LeBron takes home a win. If he has an incredible shooting night, he’s a shoo-in for the All-Star MVP.

Last year, the total of the game ended up at 320 exactly, which would make this a push. The All-Star Game is a relaxed outing, but it’s not always a scoring clinic. Two years ago, the final score was 157-155, showing just how close and competitive these games can be. Had the total been set at 315, we’d take the over. However, 320 is just enough for us to take the under here.
